The goal of these exhibitions is to introduce the general public to the scientific advancements taking place in the Côte d'Azur region.
Spotlight on Research on the French Riviera
Since February 2025, Nice has been hosting a series of free exhibitions dedicated to various scientific fields. These exhibitions highlight the work of researchers from Université Côte d'Azur, the CNRS, INRAE, Inria, Inserm, and the Côte d’Azur Observatory, whose projects were awarded grants by the National Research Agency in 2018, 2019, and 2020. The goal is to introduce the general public to the scientific advancements taking place in the Côte d’Azur region.
A wide range of scientific disciplines
Discover a multitude of fascinating topics, from basic sciences to the humanities, including geology and ecology. Dive into the stories of the women and men shaping science in the Côte d’Azur region through the projects recognized by the National Research Agency.
Wider coverage across the region
Since the 2020 ANR project exhibitions were launched, they have replaced those dedicated to the 2018–2019 projects in the city center, while the 2018–2019 exhibitions are now on display primarily in the hinterland, specifically in the Verdon and Haut-Verdon regions, such as at the Lycée Janetti in Saint-Maximin and the middle school in Vinon-sur-Verdon.
A tour of rural areas
The “Esope 21” association will be responsible for its distribution starting in March 2026, as part of its mission to promote knowledge and science in rural areas. This exhibition is set to tour several villages and schools, such as the Lycée Janetti in Saint Maximin and the Collège de Vinon-sur-Verdon, in order to reach new audiences located far from major urban centers.
